SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate the assigned delivery trucks with care to the vehicle, contents, and passenger/attendant
- Ensure proper documentations are complied with at all times
- Interact with dispatchers to work as a team when shipping and receiving goods
- Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
- Use tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping, open crates, scrap cars
- Sign applicable driver documentation as required
- Ensure punctuality and safe transport on every delivery schedule
- Observe the road and standard traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including government codes and company agreement standards
- Ensure that alcohol and drugs must not be consumed or present while on duty or during working hours
- Ensure that vehicle/truck is kept clean, secure, and in good working condition all the time
- Ensure that the vehicle receives regular maintenance checks, such as oil, water, battery, brakes, and tires.
- Prepare and check vehicle spare parts, logistics, and device inventory
- Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring reports such as operation, maintenance, gasoline expenses, mileage, etc. to warehouse Admin Associate/Admin Officer
- Assist the Admin Officer to ensure vehicle registration and insurance are updated according to schedule
- Participate, attend, and renew training and workshops relevant to safe driving standards and traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure that driver’s license and all other driving documents is valid and update
- Perform other related tasks and duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma is acceptable, with excellent skills in driving
- With clear eyesight, with normal senses, in good health, and negative in illegal drugs
- With experience as a delivery driver in a warehouse with the same capacity
- Can drive 6-wheleers truck
