Qualifications:
- Graduate of any four or five-year course
- Preferably a minimum of six months experience in a related field with exposure to MRP II/ERP systems.
- Must be able to access and get information via the MRP system
- Passed the POEA Validation Qualification Knowledgeable on waterfall analysis.
Job Description:
1. Demand Management – Receives forecast from the customers. Analyzes changes in demand and highlights increase and decrease in forecast and sales orders.
2. Ensures accuracy of System 21 versus customer demand (Forecast and Purchase Order). JOB DESCRIPTION DEMAND AND MATERIAL PLANNER Document Number: Page 2 of 9
3. Aligns customer’s requirement versus available resources (machine, materials, capacity, etc.)
4. Validates system generated material requisitions (PR/PO and/or VSPO) and ensures that the demand is covered by Purchase Orders, taking into consideration alternatives, excess order and Engineering Changes.
5. Prepares and analyze the customer material claims (ie. aging, excess and obsolete, no demand, dead stock).
6. Sending excess orders as per agreement with Customers and seek customer approval before allowing the purchase requisition to proceed.
7. Material Management – Ensures that the resources required are in stock and available to meet the production schedules.
8. Assures that all charges, movement and buyback of consigned items are properly monitored and executed to ensure accurate count of consigned items.
9. Prepares and facilitates approval of Movement Approval Sheets, Vendor-Managed Inventory /Consigned/Buy Back stocks consumption, and other reports pertaining to materials.
10. Creates and submits needed reports on time.
11. Ensures compliance to company established Way of Working (WOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) (ie: ISO Procedures, 7S, etc.).
12. Acts as a Liaison Officer of the company in relation to Demand and Material Planning (ei: CSS, Purchasing, Procurement, etc.).
13. Performs other functions as required by his/her superior after due training/qualification.
