Position Summary:
We’re looking for a confident, global creative lead who can take the reins on all things content and design at DemandScience. As our Director for Creative and Content, you’ll report to the Senior Director of Marketing and manage a team that brings our brand to life every day.
You’ll lead the content and creative process from end to end—owning editorial planning, reviewing visuals and messaging, managing timelines, and ensuring every asset we publish is consistent, engaging, and on-brand.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a deep understanding of our company positioning, ideal customer profiles, and solution suite—how they’re pitched, positioned, sold, and orchestrated to help B2B marketers grow their pipeline.
Just as critically, you’ll need to connect creative and content work to our broader go-to-market (GTM) strategy, ensuring every asset aligns with how we engage audiences, deliver value, and drive growth.
You’ll serve as both a creative leader and a strategic translator, ensuring our brand voice connects powerfully with the right audiences at every touchpoint.
Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do”:
- Lead our content strategy. Build and manage content calendars, content journeys, and editorial processes that support campaigns, sales enablement, and brand growth, with a strong tie to audience needs and funnel stages.
- Own the creative process. Review, approve, and guide all marketing visuals and assets to ensure they’re on-brand, high-quality, and aligned with how we position our solutions in the market.
- Align execution to GTM strategy. Ensure all creative and content outputs are grounded in our go-to-market approach, supporting campaign objectives, audience engagement, and strategic delivery across touchpoints.
- Run a tight team. Lead a group of creatives and content pros—including design, brand, editorial, and writing. Keep projects moving, unblock challenges, and coach your team to do their best work.
- Collaborate across marketing functions. Partner with campaign, partner, and operations teams to integrate content and creative into broader marketing workflows—ensuring delivery is timely, cohesive, and in sync with cross-channel execution.
- Make sure it’s polished. Oversee editorial reviews and brand governance—keeping our tone, style, and messaging sharp, clear, and consistent across every region and channel.
- Think strategically. Act as the internal steward of our brand positioning and audience focus. You’ll ensure all content and creative work maps back to our strategic messaging, persona insights, and the value we deliver across our solutions.
Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”:
- 8+ years leading content, brand, or creative teams, in a B2B marketing environment for a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market messaging, persona development, and content frameworks that move buyers from interest to action.
- A portfolio that shows off your content planning, brand storytelling, and creative leadership, especially across multichannel campaigns.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and creative workflows in fast-paced environments.
- You’re proactive, organized, and deeply collaborative—able to bring structure to ambiguity and clarity to complexity.
- You know how to translate strategy into content and design that resonates globally.
- Exceptional communication skills and a track record of working across teams, functions, and time zones.
