We’re hiring a full‑time, remote Director of Operations for our chat team. You’re allergic to the status quo and constantly engineer new ways to streamline workflows, lift conversion & margin, and wow customers. Chat Ops owns every inbound/outbound conversation that drives ticket purchasing and resale, so success demands data‑driven judgment, process obsession, and upbeat leadership. You’ll partner closely with the CEO, Engineering, Marketing, Pricing Analysts, and our global chat team to fuel profitable growth.

Day‑to‑day
- Run the chat queue (night‑of surges, order fulfillment, crisis management).
- Translate P&L and pipeline insights into daily actions.
- Hire, train & incentivize a 15‑person global team.
- Design 100‑customer tests → scale what works; kill what doesn’t.
- Partner with CEO on strategy and with Tech & Marketing on tooling and social proof.
You bring
- 5–10 yrs leading high‑velocity ops (e‑com, SaaS, ticketing, etc.) with > $3 M revenue ownership.
- Proven remote‑team leader across time zones.
- Data & technical fluency: Google Sheets, basic SQL/API logic; comfortable scoping integrations, reading code, and working with devs to ship automations & dashboards.
- AI‑forward mindset: you leverage LLM tools (ChatGPT, custom GPTs, Zapier + OpenAI) to multiply output and insight.
- Calm in crises, biased for action, infectious optimism.
Compensation
Component
Base salary: $40 K – $55 K USD
Profit share: 7 % of annual Chat profit (≈ $21 K at plan)
- On‑target earnings (OTE): $61 K – $76 K cash
