QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or courses in electrical systems is a plus).
- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program, NCII Certificate (or equivalent training) is highly preferred.
Experience
- Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical systems in a variety of settings (homes, buildings, factories, etc.).
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficient knowledge of electrical theory, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, circuit testers, and power meters.
- Knowledge of various electrical components, including transformers, circuit breakers, panel boards, and wiring.
