Position: Employee Relations Officer
Work Location: On-site – Batangas City
Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term
Schedule: Graveyard Shift (Monday to Friday)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Employee Relations Officer to help cultivate a positive and compliant workplace culture. In this role, you will support employee engagement, address concerns fairly, and ensure alignment between people strategies and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mediate employee concerns and provide fair, timely resolution between staff and management
- Conduct and document coaching sessions to motivate and empower employees
- Respond to emails and calls professionally and efficiently
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs, events, and initiatives
- Plan and execute team-building activities and internal campaigns that enhance workplace morale
- Propose and strategize employee-focused programs that align with company goals
- Support company-wide assemblies, including agenda preparation and logistics coordination
- Create strategic action plans to support HR and organizational initiatives
- Improve HR systems, documentation, and workflows for better efficiency
- Advise on risks affecting employee relations and business operations
- Contribute to the creation, review, and enforcement of company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and government regulations
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee and company records
- Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation related to employee relations and programs
- Screen and interview candidates for key organizational roles
- Identify training needs and support the creation of learning and development programs
- Conduct and automate employee orientation processes as needed
- Use Google Suite and other platforms for documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Create presentations using Canva or similar visual editing tools
- Maintain consistent communication across departments to support employee needs
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in Employee Relations, Labor, Engagement, or similar fields
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with effective problem-solving abilities
- High ethical standards, reliability, and confidentiality
- Creative and adaptable in developing systems, processes, and programs
- Team player with leadership potential and a proactive mindset
- Proficient in Google Suite and document management tools
- Experience in visual presentation design; Canva knowledge is a plus
- Ability to lead and automate onboarding processes
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance standards
