Job Summary
Pioneer Truck Parts and Equipment Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Engine Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining truck engines to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose engine problems using diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
- Repair or replace defective engine components including fuel systems, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and electrical systems.
- Conduct engine overhauls and rebuilds as necessary.
- Test engines to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety and emission standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training in diesel mechanics or automotive technology preferred.
- Proven experience as an engine technician, preferably in the truck or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, including diagnostics and repair.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy parts and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
- Willing to be deploy in Pulo, Cabuyao Laguna.
- Can start ASAP.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate
Pay: Php14,000.00 - Php18,200.00 per month
