KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the installation and commissioning of HVAC and cooling systems (CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers) within data centers, ensuring proper setup, integration, and optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on HVAC systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, resolving them quickly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data for inefficiencies, and implement corrective measures to enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain optimal thermal conditions.
- Recommend energy-saving measures and system upgrades. Work with clients to reduce consumption and improve overall system performance, aligning with sustainability goals.
- Maintain accurate service records, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Provide clients with clear reports on system status and recommended actions.
- Build and maintain client relationships by providing expert advice on system optimization, cooling loads, and thermal management to ensure peak operational performance.
- Ensure all service work adheres to safety standards, regulations, and best practices, creating a safe work environment at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, prioritize repairs, and restore cooling systems swiftly to minimize disruptions to critical data center operations.
Responsibilities:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Good customer service
- Knowledge in field servicing of thermal products like CRAC, HVAC, AHU and chiller system.
- Experience in critical infrastructure is desirable.
- Customer centric with high level of commitment to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and demands.
- Good written, oral communication and presentation skills, with experience working with people across different culture and background
- Good relationship building and management skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners)
- Self-motivated and work on own initiative; good team player
- Action- and results-orientated with a passion for success
- Aggressive in planning for and achieving targets.
- Good time management skills.
