We are seeking an innovative and motivated Product Engineer to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing products that fulfill our customers’ needs and support Microchip’s strategic vision. As a Product Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, manufacturing, applications, failure analysis and customer quality group to ensure our products meet all company specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities & Skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, manufacturing, applications, failure analysis and customer quality group) to define product requirements and specifications.
- Apply statistical analysis on collected characterization data to define key product datasheet parameters and report out results.
- Identify and analyze to root cause product marginalities, communicating and coordinating root cause closure to appropriate cross-functional team (eg. Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, etc.)
- Develop bench automation and data collection scripts and programs.
- Analyze product failures and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze and report out on test yield and test time.
- Support manufacturing team in resolving production issues and optimizing processes.
- Ensure products comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
- Strong leadership and ability to make decisions under pressure.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ECE, CoE)
· Good scholastic records with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good foundation in electronics
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities
· Attention to detail and project management skills
