The Role
We’re looking for a Podcast & Blog Writer who can turn audio into polished, strategic, written content. You’ll work closely with a growing team of podcast experts to write show notes, blog posts, and contribute to the overall voice and visibility of our clients. This is a contractor role ideal for someone who wants their work to be seen, is curious about the podcasting space, and enjoys writing across a variety of formats and industries. You’ll be trusted with end-to-end writing and QC responsibilities for multiple shows and clients.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Writing (Weekly)
- Write compelling blog posts from podcast episodes
- Create show notes and episode titles that drive clicks and SEO
- Generate clean, polished transcripts for each episode
Editorial Quality Control (Weekly)
- Review and finalize episode content before release
- Apply template updates or editorial improvements as needed
Client Support & Strategy (Monthly)
- Submit shows for podcast platform features
- Assist with approvals for new or updated client templates
- Contribute to Orbit Reports and internal documentation as needed
- Support account managers with occasional client communication
One-Time Setup Tasks (Per Show)
- Conduct basic keyword strategy and mapping during show launch
- Proven writing skills with a knack for clarity, storytelling, and structure
- Experience writing blog content, newsletters, podcast show notes, or similar
- Comfort working in Google Docs, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand voice/style guidelines
- Familiarity with podcasting, SEO, AI tools, or transcripts is a big plus (but not required)
- Self-driven and comfortable managing recurring tasks on a deadline
