Job Qualifications:
- Must be an Environmental Scientist or related Science and Engineering graduate (Biologist, Ecologist, Forester, Chemist, Environmental Engineer) with at least 2-3 years experience in the Mining Industry.
Job Description:
- Ensure implementation of all activities stated in the Environmental Work Program submitted to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau
- Lead the development and planning of environmental programs (e.g. EWP, EPEP/ AEPEP, FMRDP, etc.)
- Conduct baseline data gathering on the present condition of the environment (Land and Water Resources, Air Quality, and Biological Environment)
- Conduct Information Education and Communication activities on environmental management based on the Community Development Program
- Ensure progressive rehabilitation of all areas subjected to mineral exploration activities,care and maintenance of the nursery, tree-planting activities, waste disposal management, etc.
- Prepare mandatory/compliance reports to be submitted to government regulatory bodies (DENR-MGB, DENR-EMB, etc.)
- Ensure monitoring and compliance to Local and International Environmental and Mining Laws and regulations
- Assist in the implementation of Community Development Programs - Preferrably can speak local language in Northern Luzon (specifically Ilocano)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
