Job Summary:
- The Equipment Aircon Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems, including HVAC and ventilation units, across various equipment and facilities.
- The role ensures that all cooling systems are operating efficiently to support smooth plant or office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning systems.
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of malfunctioning HVAC units.
- Install new air conditioning units and ensure proper electrical and refrigerant connections.
- Clean, adjust, and replace filters, motors, coils, compressors and other components as needed.
- Monitor system performance and refrigerant levels to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond to emergency repair requests during regular hours or on-call schedule.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for job scheduling and material requisition.
Qualification:
- At least a High School graduate; TESDA NCII in RAC (Refrigeration and Airconditioning) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Aircon Technician or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret t and technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends or holidays if needed.
