Job Summary:
The Fabrication Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication department. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising fabrication activities to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality components and structures. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge in metal or structural fabrication, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all fabrication activities and personnel, ensuring alignment with production schedules and quality standards.
- Plan daily and weekly workloads in coordination with Production Planning and Engineering teams.
- Monitor fabrication processes and outputs to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
- Manage staffing levels, work assignments, and performance evaluations within the fabrication team.
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety protocols and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Evaluate and improve fabrication methods, tooling, and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools.
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve any quality issues related to fabrication.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and labor hours.
- Train, mentor, and develop fabrication staff to ensure skill growth and retention.
- Manage fabrication material inventory and coordinate with procurement as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to cost, quality, and lead time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in a fabrication or metalworking environment, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques such as welding, cutting, forming, and assembly.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with safety regulations and practices in a fabrication environment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
