Scope of Work : * *
Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; repairs and etc.).Perform other tasks as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities :
1. Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations using a pre‐established check sheet.
2. Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
3. Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses and etc.).
4. Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
5. Reconfigures, installs, positions, and mount again modular offices and space (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools.
6. Order parts and maintain required documents.
7. Monitors fire extinguisher monthly and Fire Detection and Alarm Sytem (FDAS) monitoring bi-annual or as needed.
8. Performs other work related duties as assigned.
9. Participates in the daily safety audit and stretching.
10. Assist in ensuring that facilities and buildings are in compliant with the standard set by the government.
11. Facilitate hazardous materials/chemicals safe keeping and monitoring.
Required Qualifications:
- A high school graduate, college level or a graduate of any vocational college
- Must have atleast 1 year manufacturing experience in the same field
- Experienced working with an ISO certified company is an advantage
- Must have ability to perform multiple taks in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to handle stress
- Possesses physical strength required to stand, walk for long periods of time.
- Able to work on a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
