Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Oversee the operation of critical facility systems, such as heating, cooling, lighting, and security systems etc.
- Manage and monitor automated building management systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior facilities technicians, providing guidance and support in performing their duties.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring quality and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain and update facility documentation, including maintenance logs, safety records, and compliance reports.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Respond promptly to facility-related service requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with facility occupants to address concerns and provide updates on maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility systems and equipment.
- Analyze system performance data and adjust maintenance strategies as needed.
- Act as a key contact for emergency situations, providing immediate response and resolution to facility-related crises.
- Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills to ensure readiness for unforeseen events.
