The Field Sales Agent will be responsible for supplying construction and hardware products to retail stores, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth in assigned territories. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, results-driven, and skilled at building trust with clients. A company vehicle will be provided for sales and delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and visit retail stores and potential clients within assigned areas.
- Present and promote company products, highlighting wholesale advantages and direct-from-factory quality.
- Process orders and coordinate with the operations team for timely delivery.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while developing new accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions and client communications.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Drive the company vehicle for client visits and product deliveries.
- Uphold company values and represent the brand in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
- At least a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction supplies, hardware, or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Willing to travel frequently within assigned territory.
- Knowledge of construction materials and hardware products is an advantage.
