Field Service Technician (Cebu City)

JOB SUMMARY

Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning and maintenance of coffee machines for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various types of coffee machines to ensure they operate efficiently and deliver high-quality beverages. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to customers, conducting equipment installations, and training staff on machine operation and maintenance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical Maintenance:
• Perform routine inspections, diagnose technical issues, and conduct repairs or adjustment of coffee machines to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Troubleshooting:
• Troubleshoot technical issues with coffee machines, including but not limited to espresso machines, drip coffee makers, and bean-to-cup machines.
• Perform repairs and replacements of defective components to restore machines to proper working condition.
• Use proper tools, diagnostic equipment and interpret technical manuals, schematic diagram and resolve machine malfunctions or issues efficiently.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, descaling, and lubricating machine parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
• Follow maintenance schedules and checklists to ensure all necessary maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Installation and Setup:
• Install new coffee machines at client locations, ensuring proper setup and calibration according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Test machines to verify functionality and train end-users on basic operation and maintenance procedures.
• Assist in installing new coffee machines, setting them up correctly base on standards, and providing basic training to user on proper operation and maintenance practices.
• Customer Service:
• Assist customers over the phone, email, or in person to troubleshoot machine issues and provide technical guidance.
• Offer recommendations for optimal machine performance and advise on preventive maintenance practices.
• Interact with customers, understand their concerns or complaints, provide technical support and offer recommendations for machine optimization.
• Documentation:
• Keep accurate records of machine repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.
• Order replacement parts and maintain stock levels to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines and regulations while working on coffee machine, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Cleanliness:
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the area assigned.
• Others:
• With Valid Driver's License and can Drive Motorcycle / 4 wheels car
• Perform other related duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
• Familiarity with Davao City / nearby municipalities

QUALIFICATION

• Education: College Graduate or equivalent; vocational training or certification in relevant technical fields is beneficial.
• Experience: At least 1 year / Previous experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools, diagnostic/testing equipment and reading technical manuals or schematic diagram.
• Attention to Detail: Thoroughness and attention to detail in conducting repairs and documenting service activities.
• Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customer and team members effectively.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical positions for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Electromechanics: 2 years (Preferred)
