QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- 3-5 years of Experience as a Finance Analyst or General Accounting
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage Industry is a plus
- Knowledgeable with inventory accounting, COGS and supply chain finance
- Having High Technical Skills
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance and trend analysis
- Cost accounting (especially relevant in F&B: raw materials, packaging, labor)
- Inventory and production cost tracking
- Profitability and margin analysis by product or channel
- Financial modeling for new product launches or plant expansions
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills (especially to explain numbers to non-financial teams)
- Team collaboration, especially with supply chain, operations, and marketing
- Time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines during reporting periods
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and explain key drivers.
- Analyze financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with departments to gather inputs and understand business drivers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments).
- Support general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Help ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal controls.
- Create dashboards and visual reports using tools like Excel, Power Point etc.
- Consolidate data from multiple systems to support analysis and reporting.
- Generate financial reports as requested by leadership or business units.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business units.
- Support cost analysis, pricing strategies, and ROI evaluations.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to automation efforts.
- Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Help maintain documentation for financial processes and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
