A Finance Officer manages an organization's financial transactions and reporting, encompassing duties like budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and providing financial guidance to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management. Handling daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting. Preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasting future cash flows, and analyzing financial performance.
- Financial Reporting. Creating and reviewing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Compliance and Risk Management. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Financial Analysis. Conducting analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Communication and Collaboration. Liaising with internal teams, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Financial Policy and Procedures. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
