Finance Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Check, review and assist staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
• Analyze financial statement to ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Identifying potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
• Liaising with department head ensure that each department remains within the budget.
• Check, verify and performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Supervising and providing overall guidance to his/her subordinates to assure that the department accomplishes accounting objectives.
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s target.
• Check and verify cash disbursement to ensure accuracy of amounts against invoice.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Check, verify and reconcile any financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and analyzing trends.
• Check, review and analyze the deposits (cash/check), cash advances to officers and employees subject for liquidation and ensure that the adjusting entries will be properly recorded.
• Should protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Attend other tasks that may be assigned by Immediate Superior.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in BS Accountancy, BS BA Major in Financial Management, BS Accounting Information or Management, or any related course. Additionally, the candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Finance Supervisor and be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment. The candidate must also be willing to be assigned in San Mateo, Rizal.
