The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial management processes of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accurate financial reporting by supervising the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations by monitoring and enforcing adherence to policies and procedures.
- Support financial decision-making by analyzing financial data and providing insights to the Finance Manager.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions by ensuring the timely processing of transactions.
- Strengthen internal controls by supervising audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Facilitate budget preparation and monitoring by collaborating with department heads to align financial goals.
- Improve cash flow management by supervising cash disbursements and collections.
- Enhance financial systems and processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing by coordinating with the payroll team.
- Support staff development by training and mentoring finance team members.
- Contribute to achieving departmental objectives by performing additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Behavioral Competencies: Attention to detail, leadership, problem-solving, strong communication skills
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, advanced Excel, knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
