Forklift Operator

Qualifications:

• Must be at least High School or Vocational graduate.
• Must have Heavy Equipment Operation NC II issued by TESDA.
• Must be at least 5 year (s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule, holidays and weekends.
• With experience in cold storage operations.

Job Description:

• Must ensure stocks are properly stored in a right place.
• Must pick the right product and quantity based on client withdrawal request.
• Must ensure that product picking is based on FIFO/FEFO of stocks.
• Must ensure that all variances / discrepancy found during actual picking are properly informed to the inventory planner and immediate superior
• Must report any potential product nonconformity or mishandling to the supervising authority.
• Must ensure that the forklift is in good condition prior to use and immediately report any technical trouble or damages to Engineering and Maintenance Group.
• Must ensure that proper battery charging of forklift is observed.
• Must ensure to follow all safety guidelines.
• Must ensure products have pallet tags prior to put away.
• Responsible for keeping the cold storage room doors closed when not in use.
• Assists and supports the warehouse activities efficiently so that services to client will be at prime.
• Arrives to work and meetings on time and prepared.
• Maintains work areas in a safe, clean and organized manner.
• Develops plans to reduce rework with the aim of eliminating it.
• Participates in a semi-annual, yearend & spot inventory for audit.
• Performs any other duties assigned by immediate superior.
• Initiates activities that will enhance harmonious productive working relationship with other departments within the organization.
• Demonstrations of thorough knowledge of the required skills to the position.
