Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Freight Forwarding Sales Representative with a proven track record in international shipping and logistics. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, a strong understanding of global trade, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Prior experience in the same industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international freight forwarding (air, ocean, and cross-border shipments). Trade lane between the Philippines and USA only.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding process.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and freight market trends.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and regular performance reports to management.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 1–2 years proven experience in freight forwarding sales, specifically in international shipping.
- Strong understanding of INCOTERMS, customs clearance, international logistics, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of customer service.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally, as needed.
