About the role
Awesome Hotel Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Gardener to join our team in San Juan La Union. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel's lush landscaping and gardens, ensuring they remain visually appealing and well-cared for. This is a full-time position that will see you contributing to the overall beauty and ambience of our prestigious hotel.
What you'll be doing
- Regularly maintain and care for the hotel's gardens, lawns, and other landscaping features
- Plant, water, weed, prune, and fertilize vegetation to keep it healthy and thriving
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hedge clippers
- Identify and address any pest or disease issues affecting the plants
- Collaborate with the wider hotel operations team to ensure the grounds are well-presented for guests
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years' experience as a Gardener or in a similar horticulture role
- Strong knowledge of gardening techniques, plant care, and landscaping best practices
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of gardening equipment and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks outdoors
- Flexible and able to work weekends and public holidays as required
