REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Preferably with previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the respective field
- 2 to 5 years experience
- With strong knowledge and understanding of technical systems and equipment relevant to the industry. This may include HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, electrical systems, plumbing, machinery, or other specialized technical equipment.
- Familiar with cleaning procedures, products, and equipment. Knowledge of housekeeping standards, sanitation practices, and safety protocols is essential.
- With knowledge on landscaping and grounds maintenance techniques, such as mowing, pruning, irrigation, and pest control. Knowledge of plant care, horticulture, and environmental regulations may be required.
- With strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with staff, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of technical equipment and systems, the daily operations of the housekeeping department and the maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, landscapes, and parking lots.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of equipment and landscaping improvement projects to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of outdoor spaces
- Managing a team of technicians and assigning work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs with internal or external service providers.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance logs, inventory, and documentation.
- Monitoring and managing maintenance budgets, including cost control measures and procurement of necessary parts or supplies.
- Assigning and scheduling housekeeping staff to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Conducting inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to established standards.
- Ordering and maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Addressing and resolving guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as maintenance or front office, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Managing and controlling housekeeping budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment expenses.
- Planning and scheduling grounds maintenance activities, such as mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation.
- Ensuring compliance with landscaping and environmental regulations, as well as safety standards.
- Monitoring and managing the use of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, adhering to proper application procedures.
- Inspecting and maintaining outdoor equipment, tools, and machinery, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
- Managing and coordinating debris cleanup, and waste disposal activities.
- Training and mentoring technicians to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service and Training and guiding grounds maintenance staff on proper techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation
