JOB DUTIES:
- Creates and discusses with DSAS, Dean and Principal the comprehensive school counselling program for the students.
- Develops and maintains a written plan for effective delivery of the school counselling program based on the school’s needs.
- Assists all students, individually or in groups, with developing academic, career and personal/social skills, goals and plans.
- Accurately and appropriately interprets and utilizes student’s data.
- Collaborates with parents/guardians and educators to assist students with educational and career planning
- Provides educational and occupational information to the students through seminars, workshops, symposia, and other related activities
- Maintains students’ records and ensure the confidentiality of the same
- Implements developmentally appropriate and prevention-oriented group activities to meet student needs and school grades
- Consults and collaborates effectively with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and other educational/community resources regarding students with identified concerns and needs
- Implements an effective referral and follow-up process.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Graduate of Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling
- Must be a Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC)
