Key Responsibilities of a Gypsum Board Installer:
- Installation: Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
- Finishing: Tape, mud (apply joint compound), and sand drywall seams and joints to create a smooth surface.
- Preparation: Prepare drywall for painting or other finishes.
- Tools: Use hand tools and power tools (e.g., saws, nail guns, mudding tools) to install and finish drywall.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
