The HEAD OF FINANCE will lead and oversee all financial operations across five companies and approximately eleven business units. This senior leadership role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with proven expertise in BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) regulations, taxation, and auditing. The successful candidate will manage a finance team of around 20 staff members and provide strategic financial guidance to ensure compliance, optimize tax obligations, and maintain financial health and integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of 20 professionals across multiple companies and business units.
- Foster a proactive, independent, and innovative work environment encouraging out-of-the-box thinking.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of finance staff.
- Taxation & BIR Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations and tax laws for all companies and business units.
- Oversee preparation, review, and timely filing of all tax returns, including VAT and income tax.
- Liaise with external tax agents and auditors to ensure accurate tax reporting and audit readiness.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and implement appropriate adjustments to company policies and procedures.
- Auditing & Financial Controls
- Lead internal and external audit processes across all entities.
- Develop and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Review and approve audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Financial Planning & Reporting
- Develop and manage consolidated budgets and financial forecasts for all companies and business units.
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and reports to executive leadership and the board.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Advise senior management on financial strategies, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Operational Finance
- Oversee cash flow management, treasury functions, and resource allocation to optimize working capital.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate billing, collections, and financial documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
- Extensive experience (minimum 7-10 years) in finance leadership roles, preferably managing multiple companies and business units.
- Deep knowledge of BIR regulations, tax compliance, and auditing standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a sizable finance team (around 20 staff).
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and independently, proactively addressing challenges.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CFA) are advantageous.

Pay: Php300,000.00 - Php400,000.00 per month
