Head of Operational Excellence and Innovation.
The Head of Operational Excellence and Innovation will lead the development of a coherent ecosystem focused on operational excellence and innovation for BSMH's Global Capability Center (GCC) in Manila. This role will drive initiatives that enhance process efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead a team focused on developing a coherent ecosystem for operational excellence and innovation across the entire Manila Center, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop cross-functional governance and culture on operational excellence (LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile) to ensure a solid focus on the Ministry mission, co-creation across functions, and strong collaboration.
- Lead a team of solutions architects or developers to support process innovations and improvements in alignment with global counterparts, utilizing technologies such as Azure, cloud-based solutions, process mining, Microsoft Power tools, and Workday.
- Co-responsible with functional leaders for delivering process efficiencies and productivity targets, ensuring that initiatives are effectively executed.
- Serve as a capability resource when needed, providing support not only for Manila but for BSMH as a whole, facilitating the sharing of best practices and knowledge across the organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Masters degree (preferred)
- Certification in Agile, LEAN, or Six Sigma (preferred).
Work Experience
- 8+ years of experience in operational excellence or innovation roles (preferred)
- 0-1 year of experience in leading operational excellence initiatives and teams of developers in a Global Business Services (GBS) environment (required)
- 10-12 years of experience in operational excellence or innovation roles (preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Workday experience (preferred)
- Technology experience with various tools (Workday, app development, cloud-based solutions, process mining, automations), (preferred)
- Leader of Leader Experience.
