Full-Time Virtual Insurance Verification Specialist for Vein Clinic - English Required
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Insurance Verification Specialist to join our dedicated team. Our ideal candidate has a background in the medical field, with a solid understanding of medical insurance benefits, pre-determination and prior authorization.
Prior experience verifying patient eligibility from insurance companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, Cigna, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Knows the different types of insurance companies in the United States: Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, etc.
- Additional knowledge in billing preferred: claim submission, rejections, claim follow up, appeals, payment posting, authorizations.
HOURS & COMPENSATION
We are hiring a health advisor to work an CST schedule, available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. (1 hour lunch)
~$1000 USD per month (paid twice a month)
- 12 days of paid time off (PTO). (ready to use after first 90 days)
- Paid US holidays.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify insurance information for new patients and referrals
- Verify patient out of pocket costs
- Update insurance information for existing patients
- Call to verify if pre-authorization is needed for services and procedures
- Answer questions related to billing and insurance
- Maintains patient demographic information and data collection systems
-Assist in billing and claim follow up as needed
- Bilingual Excellence: 100% Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing)
