This is a Work-from-home opportunity.
This is a full-time position, 30/40 hrs a week
The rate is $7 an hour or Php 61,000+ per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Review incoming home health referrals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements.
- Input patient demographics, physician orders, insurance details, and clinical documentation into Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Ensure proper use and documentation of ICD-10 codes relevant to home health services.
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to confirm appropriate disciplines, frequency, and services ordered.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all referrals and intake activities.
- Ensure timely processing of referrals to meet agency deadlines and compliance standards.
- Support the billing and authorization teams by providing accurate referral and insurance information.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data entry in a home health care or healthcare setting is required.
- Experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with home health terminology and ICD-10 coding.
- Solid understanding of Medicare and private insurance requirements specific to home health care.
- Knowledge of home health documentation components, such as physician orders, face-to-face documentation, and start-of-care notes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple referrals simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
