About the Role
As an HR Coordinator, you will ensure a smooth and positive experience for new employees while supporting daily HR operations. Your main tasks include coordinating onboarding activities like paperwork, background checks, and benefits enrollment, as well as maintaining accurate employee records. You’ll also assist with recruitment, schedule interviews, organize training, and help with HR projects and events. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a great employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including assessments, new hire paperwork, background checks, drug screens and safety council.
- Ensure timely completion of all onboarding tasks.
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and answering questions during their transition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Provide support for recruitment processes including interview scheduling and applicant tracking.
- Assist in organizing training sessions and HR events.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives such as policy updates, or employee engagement programs.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with Recruitment in Sourcing and Screening processes
Competencies and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in HR administration or onboarding roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
