Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by fostering open communication and mutual respect.
- Oversee performance management processes, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring fairness and compliance.
- Talent Management:
- Support the recruitment and selection process by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements, screen resumes, and conduct interviews.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for all staff.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are in compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, performance evaluations, and training certifications.
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise and mentor junior HR staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new HR initiatives and strategies to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, recruitment costs, and performance data.
