Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- IB Educator Certificate
- Leadership experience in curriculum development or coordination
- Strong understanding of IB assessment practices and philosophy
Competencies:
- Prior experience in educational leadership, with a strong background in managing the IBDP framework and its implementation.
- In-depth understanding of the IBDP philosophy and a commitment to upholding the values of inquiry-based learning, global citizenship, and academic integrity.
- Proven track record in coordinating and supporting IBDP teachers, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and ensuring consistency in programme delivery.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage scheduling, assessments, and compliance with IBDP standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong, positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and parents.
- A deep understanding of formative and summative assessment techniques, specifically within the IBDP framework, and the ability to guide teachers in implementing these strategies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data from assessments and other sources to inform instructional decisions, support students' progress, and implement interventions as necessary.
- Commitment to student well-being, ensuring a balanced approach to academic rigor and personal growth.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive school culture, where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential.
- Proven ability to handle complex administrative tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
