QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a graduate of any four (4) year course preferably business or medical course.
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Able to relate to different kinds of personalities
- Able to assess the patient’s capacity to pay
- Has a pleasing personality
FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Information Staff process requests for inpatient admissions entertains clients and conducts interviews with the incoming patients prior to admission and collects patient’s data.
- Assisting departments in relaying messages and communications thru the telephone paging system/public address system.
- Responsible in answering incoming and outgoing calls from different departments
- Responsible in entertaining questions and queries from incoming patients.
- Responsible in locating and informing needed personnel thru paging.
- Explains rates, charges, services, discounts and hospital policy.
- Prepare and submit reports as requested.
- Responsible and authorize in receiving mails and packages for the hospital.
- Providing efficient and effective service to meeting patient’s needs.
