We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Investment Operations Analyst to oversee our portfolio rebalancing system in Black Diamond. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing investment allocation models, managing clients requests for funds, monitoring cash balances, executing trades on a weekly basis, and overall system functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of securities, a keen analytical mindset, and a passion for optimizing system processes.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work From Home set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Model Implementation: Implement assigned investment allocation models that align with client objectives. Rebalance according to predetermined tolerance bands.
- Portfolio Maintenance: Regularly assess portfolio deviation and make necessary adjustments. Make informed trade recommendations when clients have cash needs, considering their investment goals. Manage required minimum distribution buffers and make recommendations when funds are requested. Capture losses when and where appropriate.
- Cash Balance Monitoring: Monitor cash balances in client accounts to identify funds available for investment as well as implement and track dollar cost averaging schedules. Make timely recommendations on how to allocate these funds effectively.
- Weekly Trade Implementation: Execute trades on a weekly basis to rebalance client portfolios in accordance with established strategies and guidelines.
- Rebalancing System Maintenance: Ensure the Black Diamond portfolio management system is functioning effectively. Troubleshoot any issues and implement necessary improvements. Suggest enhancements to processes and systems for better efficiency.
- Reporting System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the Black Diamond reporting system for clients and advisors.
- Fund Research and Proposal System: Utilize Morningstar Advisor Workstation to conduct fund research and prepare client reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required US-based securities license Series 65 or Series 7
- Proficient with portfolio management platforms (such as Black Diamond or Morningstar), MS Excel, and other financial tools used for tracking and rebalancing portfolios.
- 3-5 years experience in Investment Management, Wealth Management and/or Financial Advisory Firms industry
- Must be familiar with asset allocation, portfolio analysis, and rebalancing strategies
- Exceptional command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to multi‐task, work independently and/or within a team, prioritizing work requests to meet deadlines.
