Sirva is now seeking Jr. Accountant to support our domestic and international clients based out of the Philippines.
This role requires flexibility to shift times and offers a hybrid working model with work from home available.

Functions and Responsibilities:
Financial Close and Reporting
• Close Books timely, accurately and completely each month
• All GL accounts reconciled - post significant accts to Policy IQ monthly and all accts quarterly
• Perform Search for Unrecorded Liabilities / review GL activity by Vendor for monthly trends
• Ensure IC accounts zero out - eliminate IC Trade AR, IC Interest, IC Non-trade entry
• Significant accruals/reserves reviewed and trued up at least quarterly
• Review Comparative Trial Balance & review monthly JE trend to ensure items reasonable
• Perform other detailed procedures performed to ensure accounts are fairly stated
• Ensure Accounting ledgers including performing all balance sheet account reconciliation ensuring compliance to US GAAP, local Accounting Standards and Company policies
• Generate/prepare and submit monthly Management reports
• Data file upload
Sales Commission and Tax Compliance
• Sales Commission computation
• Prepare and submit filing of Direct and Indirect Tax Return.
• Looking after PH overall compliance matters.
Audit and Compliance
• Lead Statutory Financial and Tax audits, working internally with different teams - AP/AR/CF/Customer Experience
• Coordinate with Corporate Secretary for Directors’ Resolution preparation and facilitate Director’s sign off and any other documents required.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting
• Collaborate with FP&A on budget and forecast data requests.
• Address internal department data requests.
• Request Capex approval as necessary.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
• Education/Certification Requirements - Accounting Diploma/Degree or equivalent
• With 2- 3 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge with Philippines tax filling is preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Strong independent working capability with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
