The Kitchen and Laundry Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. This includes ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and other related appliances. The technician ensures that all equipment is functioning optimally, preventing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of kitchen and laundry equipment (commercial or residential).
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to kitchen and laundry appliances is essential.
Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.) and laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, steamers, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Good communication skills for interaction with staff and management.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs, and work in various physical environments.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
- Prolonged standing and walking may be required.
