JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Sampling and Testing:Collects and prepares feed samples for analysis, performing tests like proximate analysis (moisture, protein, fat, fiber, ash), mycotoxin screening, and physical tests.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance:Operates and maintains laboratory equipment such as NIR analyzers, moisture analyzers, balances, ovens, and grinders. Ensures proper calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of instruments.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Records and analyzes test results accurately, identifies deviations, and reports them to the appropriate personnel.
- Quality Control:Supports quality control by providing analytical feedback, ensuring adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), GMP, and HACCP standards.
- Laboratory Management:Maintains laboratory records, logs, and quality control documents, participates in audits, and assists in developing new test procedures.
- Safety and Compliance:Ensures a safe and organized work environment, adheres to safety protocols, and complies with company regulations.
- Collaboration:May coach other lab personnel, assist with process adjustments, and contribute to continuous improvement programs.
