The Laboratory Analyst takes charge of the analysis of products, raw materials, packaging materials, and other samples necessary for proper operation to check quality in compliance with food safety and customer standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure to conduct a physico-chemical analysis of finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, and other materials.
- Upholds and preserves monitoring reports related to finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, and other materials related to the result of the physico-chemical analysis.
- Set up and bring about finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, and other materials samples as requested by the customer and other parties as needed.
- Safeguard to perform physico-chemical analysis for qualifying new or changed raw materials, packaging materials, and other materials.
- Keep and continue conduct as per request for physico-chemical analysis of new or changed process experiments and trials.
- Ascertain monitoring and ensure that all laboratory equipment is calibrated at all times.
- Support and provide the sample to ensure that all defined products have an updated heavy metal, pesticide residue, pathogens, and other defined analysis result by third-party laboratory.
- Ensure PBI Plant Budget Compliance thru physico-chemiccal analysis of finished products.
- Upholds EHSS Safety Audit Compliance Score of Quality Department by preserving safety and raise non-conformity as needed.
- Keep the order to shipment timeliness via conducting the laboratory testing on time of the release.
- Ascertain the ZK Ave. Gel Strength and determine ZK Yield thru compliance to the testing procedures.
- Guarantees the First Time Right of ZK and Dry Blends via obedience to the testing procedures.
- Support the resolution of customer complaints thru appropriate investigation.
- Prevent Cost of Non-Quality via proper holding, confirmation, and rejection of nonconforming items.
- Any other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, or Nutrition (License in the degree is an advantage)
- At least 3 years of working experience as laboratory analyst in food manufacturing industry
- Experience in food powder ingredient industry is an advantage
- With extensive background in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO 17025
- Knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 is an advantage
