Position Summary
The Liaison & Merchandise Officer is responsible for fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing merchandise inventory, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaison and Partnership Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for merchandise procurement.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align promotional activities with merchandise offerings.
- Merchandise Management:
- Oversee the inventory management process, including stock control, replenishment, and tracking.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Ensure the visual appeal and organization of the merchandise display areas.
- Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify new merchandise opportunities.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with customer transactions and promotions.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare reports and documentation related to merchandise performance and sales.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and sales data.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
