Position: Chemist
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- Must be a licensed Chemist.
- Experience in mineral analysis or in a mining/metallurgical lab setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with techniques such as atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), ICP, titration, and gravimetric analysis.
- Knowledge of metallurgical processes and chemicals used in mining (e.g., cyanide, acids, flocculants).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Commitment to lab safety and environmental compliance.
Job Descriptions:
- Analyze ore, mineral, and soil samples to determine metal content and composition.
- Assist in the development and improvement of mineral extraction and processing techniques.
- Conduct laboratory tests to support metallurgical processes like flotation, leaching, and smelting.
- Monitor chemical usage and ensure proper handling and storage of reagents.
- Maintain accurate lab records and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality control standards.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
