Position Overview

The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize all aspects of One Bed’s supply chain operations, including inventory management, vendor sourcing and coordination, and freight and shipping logistics. Collaborating closely with management, teammates, suppliers, and shipping partners, the successful candidate will ensure that our logistical needs are maintained perfectly and that the entire supply chain operates efficiently.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Operations

  • End-to-End Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the complete supply chain, from sourcing materials to final delivery to end consumer or business.
  • Freight Management: Manage, track, and optimize the outbound logistics from supplier to warehouse daily to ensure timely delivery and avoid fines.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
  • Demand Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and align procurement strategies accordingly.

Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs.
  • Purchasing: Create regular Purchase Orders using inventory planning software and in-house systems, following established criteria with transparent documentation of quantity determinations.
  • Shipping & Distribution: Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers across the US.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement OKRs to monitor supply chain health, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

Vendor & Partner Relations

  • Supplier Management: Establish, maintain, source, and negotiate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, building relationships, and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Shipping Partner Coordination: Work closely with logistics partners to resolve issues, optimize transit times, and enhance service levels.
  • Travel: Travel to trade shows and suppliers as needed to source new suppliers, typically 1-3 times per year.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant US regulations and international standards.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address disruptions.

Collaboration & Support

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with management, operations, finance, and cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with overall business strategy.
  • Flexibility: Accept, recommend, and optimize additional tasks and responsibilities to meet business objectives.

Process Improvement

  • Systems & Tools: Utilize and, when necessary, enhance supply chain and inventory management systems (e.g., Inventory Planner, ERPs) and Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify, document, and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in supply chain operations.
  • Education: Stay educated (such as podcasts, industry publications, online media, social media) on industry trends to share, discuss, and implement.

Professional Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably within the e-commerce or retail industry.
    • Proven track record of managing warehouse operations, including in-house and/or third-party logistics.
    • Proven track record in purchasing and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Proven experience building and nurturing long-term supplier and vendor relationship stacks.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis tools.
    • Experience with e-commerce platform; Shopify is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with project management and collaboration software; ClickUp and Slack preferred.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Prior exposure to remote work and experienced in coordinating with cross-cultural teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams. Candidate should have a score of at least C1 Proficient User rating.   • Organizational Skills:
    • Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.


Additional Requirements

  • Prior experience working with US-based e-commerce brands.
  • Familiarity with international shipping, customs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed by leadership


Technical Requirements:

  • Personal desktop or laptop with Intel i5 or equivalent, 8GB RAM
  • Reliable residential internet connection (25 Mbps minimum)
  • Webcam and microphone-ready headset
  • Must be able to work full-time: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)


Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

  • Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp and Slack
  • Comfortable managing cross-time zone tasks (Pacific Time & PH)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, calm under pressure, proactive mindset
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision needed
