Duties and Responsibilities
1. Fleet Management:
- Oversees logistics function of the warehouse to ensure supplies, stocks, materials, packages, and/or products are transported efficiently and and safely.
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
- Responsible to maintaining the physical condition of company trucks and cars.
· 2. Assets Management:
- Making sure all assets are received, stored, and dispatched properly. This includes proper tagging of assets and system inventory.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to streamline supply chain processes.
3. People Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of logistics staff, including drivers and helpers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Documentation:
- Properly keep logistics files such as delivery receipts and route form
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Logistics
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Administration
- Industrial Engineering
Key Skills and Competencies
- Supply Chain Management knowledge
- Inventory control and warehouse management
- Logistics software proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS)
