This includes coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory, and supervising logistics staff, while also ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising Logistics Operations:Overseeing daily logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Coordinating Transportation:Managing transportation schedules, routes, and modes of transport to optimize delivery times and costs.
- Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet demand, and managing storage and handling procedures.
- Staff Management:Leading, training, and evaluating logistics staff, including scheduling and assigning work.
- Compliance and Safety:Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.
