Job Summary
Upstream Operator plays a key role in the extraction of natural resources, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This job requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Operate Equipment:
- Operate drilling and production equipment to extract coconut water, or other resources.
- Ensure equipment runs smoothly and detect any issues.
- Maintain Equipment:
- Perform regular checks and maintenance on equipment like pumps and compressors.
- Fix or arrange repairs for malfunctioning equipment.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Identify and address potential hazards to prevent accidents.
- Monitor Production Systems:
- Track production rates, pressures, and temperatures to ensure systems are working properly.
- Adjust settings to optimize production.
- Data Logging and Reporting:
- Record production data, pressure readings, and equipment status.
- Prepare daily reports on operations and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:
- Identify and solve issues like blockages, leaks, or faulty equipment.
- Work with maintenance teams to resolve complex problems.
- Monitor Environmental Impact:
- Ensure operations are environmentally responsible.
- Monitor emissions, waste disposal, and water usage to comply with regulations.
- Coordinate with Teams:
- Work with engineers, supervisors, and other operators for smooth operations.
- Help coordinate production schedules and safety checks.
- Ensure Equipment Safety and Integrity:
- Inspect key equipment for wear and potential failure.
- Ensure safety equipment is functioning correctly.
- Assist in Drilling Operations:
- Support drilling teams by monitoring systems and drilling activities.
