Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems as well as plastic processing machines such as injection molding and blow molding equipment. This includes ensuring optimal performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting production requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (chillers, air conditioners, ventilation systems, heaters).
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical and mechanical components (compressors, fans, thermostats, sensors).
- Monitor and optimize temperature control systems to ensure consistent environmental conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal machine downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, HVAC, or Electrical fields.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in maintenance, preferably in plastics manufacturing (injection/blow molding).
- Certifications (preferred):
- HVAC Certification
- EPA 608 Certification (if dealing with refrigerants)
- Basic PLC knowledge is a plus
- Skills:
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with machine brands such as Haitian, Yizumi, SMC, etc.
Working Conditions:
- Factory or production environment
- Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment
- May require lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces
- Shift work and on-call availability may be required
