Regular Operations
1. Supervises the proper implementation of standard maintenance procedures and work instructions in the grid.
2. Conducts site inspection on structures and equipment condition in order to check for possible abnormalities.
3. Ensures proper manpower distribution of Rapid Deployment Force and maintenance team in the grid and directs maintenance team to immediately respond to operations call for maintenance or repairs.
4. Supervises the inventory of spare parts (electrical, mechanical, I&C, and civil materials) and ensures availability of materials needed for maintenance by checking on the requisitions of maintenance personnel.
5. Monitors and controls expenses on manpower and maintenance or repair. Checks billing requests and charging of overtime and materials to avoid variances in the budget.
6. Prepares monthly accomplishment reports on maintenance and repair and submits to immediate superior. Reports abnormalities observed and make necessary recommendations if possible.
7. Awards and supervises contracted work in the grid.
8. Implements company policies in the grid and ensure that safety measures are complied with at all times.
9. Ensures that corrective and preventive maintenance are conducted by Maintenance team and inspection is done weekly.
10. Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Problem Solving and Decision Making (PSDM) and Risk Assessment Management as the need arise.
11. Ensures compliance to ISO requirements and Implements Hazard Identification, Risk
12. Assessment and determination of Controls (ORMP)/Aspect Impact Assessment for mechanical maintenance activities in the grid.
13. Evaluates performance of team members on a periodic basis (annual and semi-annual appraisal) to determine performance level and areas for improvement.
14. Ensures that Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) for Operations and Maintenance are developed, approved, and implemented.
15. Conducts orientation to new team members on mechanical training
16. Mentors and coaches team members.
17. Provides recommendations and implements Asset Management Plan.
During Rehabilitation
1. Prepares plans and budget for the rehabilitation work of all plants in the grid and submits these reports to immediate superior for presentation.
2. Supervises and implements electro-mechanical and civil rehabilitation works and ensures that repairs are done within quality, schedule and approved budget.
3. Reviews weekly and monthly status report of Maintenance team on rehabilitation works and submits to immediate superior.
4. Updates rehabilitation plan and budget based on accomplishment report. Explains variances if necessary.
Other Tasks
1. Conforms to the company’s Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Information Security Management Systems policies, standards, procedures and guidelines based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 Standards.
2. Report Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Information Security events/incidents or potential events or other security risks to the organization.
3. Protect information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference by maintaining confidentiality and integrity of Budget Report (variance Report, Costing Report)
4. Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
5. Assists and supports plant operations when necessary.
