DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
TECHNICAL FUNCTION:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the detailed design, development, and implementation of software or application.
- Evaluate the computer and technological needs of the organization.
- Recommend the acquisition of computers and other information systems and applications.
- Plan and oversee the installation of applications and information security measures.
- Analyze and evaluate existing computer systems, telecommunications systems, and other forms of technology.
- Supervise the members of the MIS Department.
- Stay up to date with field advancements, collaborate with other professionals in IT systems development, and ensure the team receives refresher training and development.
- Enforce and monitor compliance with company policies on the use of computers, internet, and data.
- Prepare and present IT and system reports to the management.
- Recruit, hire and train as well as supervise the MIS team members.
- Implement, establish, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Manage and supervise the MIS Officer and Supervisor.
COMPLIANCE
- Ensures confidentiality of information (gathering, disclosure and storage).
- Applies ethical reasoning and decision-making process to address situations of ethical distress and moral dilemma.
- Observes and maintains proper waste segregation and disposal according to standard procedures.
- Observes different isolation precautions and uses appropriate protective barriers, as necessary.
- Follows up on Infection Control standard procedures and protocols.

- Available in times of emergency.

- Plans and takes the lead in orientation and training of new personnel. As well in the continuing development of present personnel.

Work Experience:
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in managing the IT requirements of multiple companies.
- Experience in managing and supervising a team of IT professionals.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project management and budgeting.
- Experience in implementing and managing disaster recovery and back-up systems.
- Experience in evaluating and recommending acquisition of computers and other information systems and applications.
- Ability to stay up to date with field advancements and collaborate with other professionals in IT systems development.
Educational Background
- A degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Computer Literacy

- A professional certification in any IT (Information Technology) project management is preferred, ITIL, ISMS (Information Security Management System), CISM preferred but not required.
