Role Overview:
The Digital Asset Manager is a leadership role responsible for defining and overseeing a global Digital Asset Management (DAM) strategy that empowers marketing, creative, and commercial teams across a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client. With 6-8 years of experience, including a strong background in CPG, this individual will ensure the DAM system serves as a centralized, scalable solution for managing the company’s creative ecosystem and delivering high-impact marketing campaigns globally.
The ideal candidate is an expert in DAM systems, metadata governance, and cross-functional collaboration, with a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency in complex organizations. This role is pivotal in enabling the seamless flow of assets, enhancing brand consistency, and delivering a competitive edge in a fast-paced, consumer-driven market.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in digital asset management, marketing operations, or a related field, with a strong focus on managing marketing and creative assets in a digital environment.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with DAM systems (e.g., Widen, Bynder, Adobe Experience Manager), content management systems (CMS), and digital content workflows. Familiarity with metadata standards and tagging systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, IT, and product teams, to ensure alignment and maximize the use of digital assets across platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that digital assets are properly organized, tagged, and easily accessible.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with asset management processes, systems, and workflows.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Proven track record of identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve system functionality, and enhance user experience in asset management.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and manage large volumes of digital assets, ensuring that all files are correctly stored and tagged for easy access.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
